OneLayce Rap / hip-hop music, is a style of popular music that had beginnings in African-American inner-city street culture mainly from cities of the Southern US like, Mobile, Baton Rouge, Memphis and Atlanta.

One Layce generally performs in a vocal style in which the lyrics are spoken, rather than sung. OneLayce music deals with the hardships of inner-city life, growing up in the challenges of the streets of Mobile.
OneLayce is characterized more by its often complex,
rhyming lyrics than by its subject matter. Though. most rap /
hip hop is about the hardships of life. OneLayce is more about growing
up with and OUT of them. An acknowledgement of the violence, pain,
poverty, hardships of the streets of Mobile.
Unlike
many other styles of music, OneLayce rap is generally not sung,
and her lyrics
are spoken against a backdrop of music, beats that you feel rather than
hear. Her music often consists of
beats and rhythms influenced by the soul, funk, hip hop or rock genres
and from the artists she has heard and revered since early childhood.
She Loves to remix these sounds and rhythms of other Rock, Rhythm and
Blues, Blues, and other artists she grew up listening to and admiring
from back stage then adding her own
innovations, and often synthesized musical elements.
